Fuzhou Transit Guide

For passengers traveling on Air Cambodia flights K6592/K6593 between Phnom Penh (KTI) and Tokyo (NRT)

Air Cambodia passengers travelling between Phnom Penh and Tokyo will make a transit stop at Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC).

This guide explains the complete transit procedure for passengers departing from either Phnom Penh Techo International Airport (KTI) or Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT).

1.Check-in at Departure Airport (Phnom Penh – KTI or Tokyo – NRT)

At your departure airport:

  - You will receive a boarding pass for KTI → NRT or NRT → KTI.

  - Your clothes will be affixed with a Tag for Fzuhou Airport staff to quickly identify your itinerary

  - At Fuzhou Airport, airport staff will provide your onward boarding pass for the connecting flight.

  - Please ensure that your carry-on baggage complies with Chinese Customs and Airport Security regulations, including:

• Liquids: maximum 100 ml per container, in a transparent plastic bag
• No matches, lighters, restricted food items, animals, or prohibited goods
• Other restrictions as required by Chinese Customs and Air Cambodia’s Conditions of Carriage

2. Arrival at Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC)

After landing:   1. Disembark with all your carry-on belongings.   2. Follow airport staff and signage to the Transit Counter located near the jet bridge area.   3. Fuzhou Airport staff will: Issue your connecting boarding pass. Direct you to the International Transit Hall  4. Take the elevator to the 2nd Floor – International Transit Hall, following the signs for International Transit / Connecting Flights. Passengers connecting to Phnom Penh or Tokyo will be guided accordingly.

3. Transit Procedures in the International Transit Hall

All passengers transiting through Fuzhou must complete the following steps:

  1. Customs X-ray Screening

• Carry-on baggage will be scanned by Chinese Customs.

  2. Passport & Boarding Pass Check

• Present your travel documents at the immigration and transit verification counters.

  3. Final Security Screening

• A second security scan for your carry-on baggage before entering the sterile departure area.

Under normal conditions, the transit process typically takes 3–5 minutes per passenger.

4. Proceeding to the Departure Gate

After completing all inspections:   1. Follow the airport signs to the designated departure gate.   2. Air Cambodia flights: K6592 – Fuzhou to Tokyo (NRT) K6593 – Fuzhou to Phnom Penh (KTI)   3. These flights commonly depart from Gate 41, but gate assignments may change. Please verify the latest information on airport display screens.

Important Information for Transit Passengers

• No Chinese visa is required for eligible passengers remaining in the International Transit Hall.
• Passengers holding China Taiwan passports must carry their Taiwan Compatriot Permits for transit
• Passengers must not exit immigration or enter Mainland China unless they hold a valid visa.
• Please keep your affixed tag, passport and boarding pass ready at all times during transit.
• For separate-ticket itineraries, please confirm baggage transfer rules at your departure airport.
• In the event of operational changes or delays, please follow instructions from Air Cambodia and Fuzhou Airport staff.
